Our Roots
Owner and Operator of Thompson Carpentry LLC, Josh Thompson, was working as a machinist in 2015 when he discovered his passion for carpentry and woodworking while building custom furniture for family and friends. Over the next three years, Josh continued honing his skills by doing small woodworking projects.
In 2018, Josh was laid off from his job as a machinist, but his new found passion for carpentry seemed to light the way to his future. With the support of his wife, friends, and family, Josh decided to pursue his career in carpentry full-time. Thus, Thompson Carpentry LLC was born.
With a love for family at the heart of his business, Josh continues to evolve his skills and services to better serve the interest of his customers, offer more complex designs, and improve craftsmanship and efficiency.
